Daven is the ficticious representation of the artist, David, and as such holds many similar traits as well as some very different ones.  Since David is a sardonic masocistic bastard, Daven is expected to injure himself a lot during the comic.  Daven will probably be to a large degree more outspoken than David, since he will show the thoughts David has but is too big of a wuss to say.  One this will be similar though: Daven and David are both shy around girls, and since girls are innately evil this is not expected to change anytime soon.  More on Daven as the comic progresses.

Lex meanwhile is the ficticous representation of guest-comic writer and close friend Alex.  He is much more normal than Alex is (at least as of Now) and shares Alex's keen love of meat.  As I said, the comic is just starting so its hard to write anything.. we'll see how these characters progress. As of now though, Lex plays the role of the sensicle 'straight man', which is almost the opposite of the real life versions, in which alex is the crazy one and David is usually the voice of reason.  Eh.. whatever.
